About Me

Jack Holder: Sports, Injury & Pain Therapist. I have a 10 year background in the health, fitness and well-being industry. I am passionate about helping my clients recover from injury and allowing them to live and exercise pain free. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) Sports Science degree from the University of Worcester in 2014. Since then I have worked in physical and outdoor education before becoming a full time self employed with my therapy business ‘Pain Fix’ established in 2017. I achieved a level 5 sports therapy and injury rehab advanced diploma in 2019 and now have an expanding business which includes fitness training, health coaching and holistic rehabilitation. I provide an alternative to traditional physiotherapy through offering effective hands on therapy as well as personalised rehabilitation plans, exercise and lifestyle advice. My hobbies include fell running, field hockey, mountain biking, walking and camping. I am also the match day therapist at Keighley RUFC looking after the safety of the first team players and any injuries.

Gareth ‘Gaz’ Auty: Personal Trainer & Gym Instructor. Gaz has an extensive knowledge of how to train and provides excellent gym instruction and personal training from his fitness studio ‘Duo Fitness’ in Keighley, West Yorkshire. He works alongside other personal trainers which cater for a range of individual needs. I recommend my clients to Gaz if they are in need of strengthening and developing their fitness levels. Duo Fitness Studio offers a perfect facility to train for all types of people. I provide therapy treatments to members at the gym with appointments made available every Friday. Victoria Lakin & Robin Shepherd: Fitness Trainers & Gym Owners. Vicky and Robin run Eastburn Fitness Centre a thriving gym offering a huge range of classes for all abilities. This includes combat, dance, spin bikes, strengthening and cardio based group classes. I recommend anyone to Eastburn Fitness Centre because they have something for everyone and classes are fun and inexpensive. As well as providing a social atmosphere for training you can be guaranteed a good extensive workout that will keep you motivated and going back for more. I provide therapy treatments in my private therapy room at the gym for members and those local to the area. Keighley Rugby Union Football Club: Keighley RUFC is an historical rugby club with a loyal fan base and a range of senior mens and junior teams. The 1st XV play high up in the Northern Divison and have a number of coaching and support staff. As I mentioned in my personal bio I am proudly part of the staffing team at the club my roll as match day therapist involves me ensuring the players safety on match days. This typically involves responding to injuries on the pitch as well as helping players recover and rehabilitating injuries so they can return back to play quickly and safely.

Dan Ward: Therapist. Dan is a good friend of mine who I got to know as we trained on the same level 5 diploma course together with the ‘Active Health Group’ Manchester. Dan is a skilled hands on therapist with extensive knowledge of the mind and body connection. Dan excels at the mental health aspect of physical therapy. We tend to learn off each other and many of my own treatments involve aspects learned form Dan. I would recommend seeing Dan for treatment if you are suffering with any kind of mental health related issue including sleep loss, anxiety, depression and addiction. Phillipa Wright: Yoga, Pilates & Mindfulness Teacher. Phillipa known as ‘Philly’ is an excellent teacher/ healer using her yoga and meditation techniques to help people particularly coping with stress and trauma. She has an in depth understanding of the mind and body connection and is able to help release muscle tension and emotion stored within the body. Her small group classes and individual sessions are available to anyone especially those that may never have tried Yoga as a type of therapy. Tracy Bailey: Pilates Instructor & Physiotherapist. Tracy is a very competent Pilates Instructor and Physio providing classes and individual sessions from ‘Body Wellness’ now situated in Glusburn, North Yorkshire. She runs popular classes from beginner to advanced levels, I recommend contacting her if you need help strengthening your Glutes, back and core muscles. Essential for stability and balance Pilates is a good low impact way or keeping your muscles strong. She has Facebook and Instagram pages ‘Body Wellness Pilates’ which you can contact her from.

Annie & Steve Milner: Expert Florists & Local Legends. Annie & Steve run Rosa Rugosa Florist, Mill Hey, Haworth. They are excellent florists and everything they do is done with a personal touch. I wouldn’t buy flowers from anywhere else and you can order from anywhere in the UK! My clinic in Haworth shares the building with them and you are often welcomed by them and their 4 very friendly dogs Rolo, Rosie, Ruby and Riley. Louise Wade: Beauty Therapist & Awesome Girlfriend. Louise runs her own business as a beauty therapist from ‘Catherine Lawson Nails & Beauty’ Colne. She is a very skilled nail artist and beautician with lots of ambition growing her own small business. Jennie Clegg: Mizan Therapist & Sound Healing. Jennie is a therapist who specialises at working with women especially after birthing and/or suffering with stress, trauma, fatigue or similar. She has a deep understanding of health including mental health and provides hands on therapy treatments and alternative therapy’s which are proven effective. Airedale Hockey Club: Airedale is a hockey club I have been involved with since 2010. It is a friendly club that welcomes all abilities and offers mens, womens and junior teams. I now see a number of players from the men’s and women’s section of the club for treatments to help with injuries and fitness training. Wharfedale Harriers: A friendly fell running club for all standards of runners from new starters to national standard athletes. I have been involved with the club since joining as a junior runner in the year 2000! They offer social runs, speed training and a group of like minded individuals to keep you motivated with head torches in the winter and off road routes in the summer. They mostly run from Silsden and Ilkley however members spread far and wide. I help many of the clubs runners when they unfortunately become injured or just for routine maintenance.
