How to be Healthy

⁠You have the power to control two incredibly precious parts of yourself:⁠

⁠Your body and your mind⁠.⁠

Don’t wait around for things to change! ⁠

⁠Don’t sit at home wishing for a different body!⁠

Don’t comparing yourself to the Instagram influencers and celebrities with their “perfect” lives, abs, and relationships (Their life is not perfect)⁠

The incredible thing about you is that you’re YOU. YOU have the ability to make empowering changes for yourself.⁠

Make your physical and mental health a priority⁠.

Nurture meaningful relationships in your life⁠.

Level up to your highest self for you, not for others⁠.

Recognise when something no longer serves you (It’s not being rude, just say no)⁠.

Be kind to yourself and prioritise your needs.⁠

Understand your own mind, body, and soul and what it needs.⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠First of all, being healthy is NOT a one-size-fits-all prescription. Throughout different stages of your life, the healthy habits that work best for you will change as your lifestyle changes — and this is perfectly normal!⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Health should be approached in a holistic way that takes into account your physical, mental, and emotional well being. Finding balance in these areas is one way to feel healthy, and become empowered to live your life to the fullest.⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Being healthy looks different for different people. ⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠When you are healthy, you will feel well: physically, mentally, and socially. ⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Being healthy means feeling your best, it’s not just about how you look. ⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Following a strict diet or exercise regimen won’t make you healthy — to be healthy you must care for your body and mind, as a whole. ⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Here are some ways that you can take personal accountability for your own health and wellness: ⁣⁣⁣⁠

⁣⁣⁣⁠Caring for your body through good nutrition⁣⁣⁣⁠.

⁣⁣⁣⁠Make time for regular exercise⁣⁣⁣⁠.

Get enough rest⁣⁣⁣⁠.

⁣⁣⁣⁠Prioritise your mental and emotional wellbeing⁣⁣⁣⁠.

⁣⁣⁣⁠Being healthy isn’t a short-term goal or something to do for a few weeks — it’s a lifelong journey! ⁣⁣⁣⁠
